Dmytro Anatoliyovych Zakablukov, a 53‑year‑old man, has reached out to our foundation for help. He is currently staying at a temporary refugee accommodation facility in the city of Svyatohirsk. He has several serious health conditions, and lacks the funds needed for proper treatment.
In 2010, at Hospital No. 1 in his hometown of Makiivka, Dmytro Anatoliyovych underwent surgery for pancreatonecrosis complicated by fibrinopurulent peritonitis with a pancreatic fistula. As a result, he later developed a reducible postoperative ventral hernia, and his pancreatitis progressed into a chronic condition. Shortly afterwards, he was diagnosed with cholecystitis accompanied by biliary dyskinesia of the hypotonic type, as well as chronic hepatitis (fatty liver degeneration).
In November 2018, at Hospital No. 1 in the city of Slavyansk, doctors diagnosed him with type II diabetes mellitus of moderate severity. Later, complications of this condition were identified: diabetic angiopathy of the leg vessels with stage II chronic arterial insufficiency, and diabetic hypertensive angiopathy of the retinal vessels in both eyes.
Additionally, Dmytro Anatoliyovych suffers from chronic pyelonephritis, ischemic heart disease, atherosclerotic cardiosclerosis, and stage II hypertension with a high cardiovascular risk.
In March of this year, an endocrinologist prescribed new medications for him and issued a referral for hospitalization. He now requires funds for further treatment — funds that, unfortunately, Dmytro Anatoliyovych does not have.
