69-year-old Lida Azisovna Prydatko needs urgent surgery on the veins of both legs. She has been suffering from varicose veins for a long time, and recently she lost the ability to walk altogether. Now she is in one of the Kharkiv hospitals.

Lida Azisovna is a refugee. Until 2022, she lived peacefully in the village of Tatyanovka, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region. When her house was significantly damaged due to shelling, the lone old woman settled in a temporary shelter for refugees in the city of Sviatohirsk.

In addition to varicose veins, Lida Azisovna suffers from a number of other diseases. More than two decades ago, she was diagnosed with dyscirculatory encephalopathy, which is frequently accompanied by headache. She also has chronic osteochondrosis of the cervical and thoracic spine. In 2004, she was given a group II lifetime disability rating.

Lida Azisovna is affected by several other medical conditions: deforming osteoarthrosis of many joints, including both knees; chronic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (gastritis with gastric polyp, pancreatitis, cholecystitis); atherosclerotic cardiosclerosis. Lida Azisovna, who has no next of kin, cannot afford to pay for the necessary urgent operation, nor can she purchase medicines for immediate use.
